28th February 2023, 12:00-14:00 at Press Club Europe
Organisers: RBC wg in cooperation with ECCJ and BHRRC
This event will gather multiple stakeholders to address the following pressing questions from different perspectives: what makes effective human rights and environmental due diligence? What is needed to provide real change for workers in EU value chains?
The discussion will pave the way to a debate on how this historic opportunity could serve to effectively ensure justice for victims, departing from the actual experiences of workers, as well as business representatives.
The first-hand testimonies will be canvassed to clearly illustrate some key required elements for the European Union’s planned Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive.
